Having been privileged to see this relational view of God lived out in Jeff’s life over the past ten years, there is great joy seeing this picture of a loving God in print. Using his authenticity and relational approach, Jeff has painted a wonderful picture of how loving God is and how messed up our assumptions can be. I love the practical steps at the end of each chapter and have benefited from them greatly as I worked through my own misconceptions about God. Jeff’s consistent and persistent nature to go back to the Bible and build his theology from there pulls me in every time.
